ACDI Vendor Information THE ACD COOPERATIVE PROGRAM Through its cooperative program, the ACD offers advantages both to participating vendors and to its members. To its vendors it offers a marketing advantage to a first rate network of distributors literally saturating the key markets in the United States, Canada, and Mexico. The ACD plays a role in advertising, sales promotion, problem resolution, and partnering which helps a manufacturer get its products to market. The ACD also serves as the vehicle for billing its members who buy product through the Co-op. This allows a manufacturer to cover all of North America with only one, dependable account on its books to look to for payment of invoices. The ACD takes complete financial responsibility for the payment of invoices. It's great insurance! To its members the ACD offers the opportunity to participate in a national and international buying group, affording them the advantages of volume purchasing. It also goes one step further, by adding cash discounts on invoices and annual rebates based on members' participation to give them a financial benefit for participating in the Cooperative.
